What we do

RocJane Publishing provides book cover design, interior layout, and formatting for independent authors who supply finished, edited manuscripts. We prepare the files listed in your project agreement. You review and approve the files, then upload and publish through your own account. You manage your listing, pricing, and royalties. Our services do not include writing, editing, or proofreading unless expressly agreed in writing.

Quotes and project approval

Submitting an inquiry is a request for a quote. Work begins once both parties accept a written project agreement and any initial payment specified in that agreement is received. The agreement sets out the deliverables, fees, payment schedule, estimated turnaround, included revisions, and cancellation and refund terms.

Your manuscript and materials

You retain the rights you hold in your manuscript and any materials you supply. By providing them, you confirm that you have the rights or permissions needed for us to use them for your project. You authorize us and the contractors assigned to your project to use those materials to complete the agreed work. Your project agreement specifies the rights you receive in the finished design and any restrictions on third-party assets.

File review and publishing

You review the final files before publication, including the title, author name, manuscript text, and cover details. Third-party platforms make their own decisions about acceptance and distribution. RocJane Publishing is an independent service and is not affiliated with Amazon or Kindle Direct Publishing. We do not guarantee platform approval, sales, or rankings.
